Clamshells

Clamshell Packaging is very similar to blister packaging in that it allows the product to be fully viewable by the customer.  What distinguishes a clamshell from a blister pack is that there is no back on a clamshell package, the whole product is covered in plastic.  Blister packages are typically glued to a piece of material, allowing only a frontal view of the product.  Clamshells are a better choice for products that require a complete view.
